Notary Public Licenses
Individuals who wish to become a Notary Public may obtain an application from the County Clerk's Office. All applicants must be endorsed by a State Legislator when applying to become a Notary Public. Newly appointed Notaries must also take the oath of office at the County Clerk's Office
What you must do
- You may download a Notary Public Application, or pick one up in the Clerk’s Office.
- When your license is approved and you need to take the Oath, you must appear in person at the Clerk’s Office or at one of the Outreach Locations.
What you must bring
- Approved Notary Public License
What it will cost
- $15.00 to administer the Oath of Office, payable by cash, US Postal money order, or certified check.
