All liens must be against Essex County residents or property.

What you must do:

• Submit the official document in person or via mail to PO Box 690, Newark, NJ 07101-0690.

What it will cost:

• Construction Lien Claims - $15.00 for the first page, $5 each additional page
• Two Types of Discharge Fees:
  ◦ Regular Release:  $20 for the first page; $5 for each additional page
  ◦ Discharge By Bond: $30 for the first page; $5 for each additional page
• Abstract of Judgments - $25.00
• Hospital and Physician Liens - $15

All fees are payable by cash, US Postal money order, or certified check.
